Boxing: Nonito “Flash” Donaire
I remember exactly when I met Nonito “Flash” Donaire. It was at the special luncheon that the organizers of the 2007 Pistahan Festival in San Francisco. Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton introduced us. Oh yes, I got his email address at that time, too! Why do I remember this? It’s because when we chatted, he had crouched, semi-kneeling on the floor beside my seat while he shared his story about a recent fight wherein he had won. I look forward to getting more stories about “Flash” so I can include them in this news curation.

Subject: Happy Easter! Watch our Tango this week.
To: undisclosed recipients
Happy Easter!
I hope the Easter Bunny was kind to everyone and that you had a fabulous weekend and Spring Break!
Chris and I have been hard at work perfecting our Tango for Guilty Pleasures week and I think you’ll love what we’ve done. We were busy with interviews and commitments but we spent many hours practicing as well. You can catch us on Ellen on Monday, I always love being on her show!
I got to catch up with Mike Catherwood last week too as I was a guest on his show with Dr Drew, Loveline. I think his skills are definitely as a host rather than a dancer!
Thank you all for keeping us alive each week and don’t forget to vote!
Xoxo
Cheryl
P.S.
To vote for Chris and me, call 800-868-3409 or log on to http://www.abc.com. You are allowed to vote multiple times equal to the number of celebrities on the show, 7 this week. Phone lines, text votes (AT&T customers only) and online polls will open at the top of each performance show. Phone and text lines will stay open for 30 minutes after the end of the show. Online voting will remain open until 11:00am (Eastern Time)/8:00am (Pacific Time) on the day of the results show.

Radiation and Holistic Health Remedies
The shortened URL of this blog posting is http://bit.ly/hz0FCX.
Is there a huge possibility that “the winds of change” laden with radioactive particles (from the earthquake in Japan) will reach the United States? Do you remember the Mount Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines many years ago when scientists tracked the “lahar” travelling around the world? Perhaps it’s good to be prepared for whatever happens — and pray nothing disastrous comes up.
Disasters Happen! Are You Prepared?
Commissioner Jacqueline Lingad-Ricci (Immigrant Rights Commission, City and County of San Francisco) shared these disaster preparedness tips that are applicable worldwide. She says: “With the recent catastrophe in Japan and other parts of the world. Make sure everyone knows where to find your disaster supply kit and Go kits (Go-Kits are emergency kits you pack in advance so that if an emergency strikes, you’re good to go!).
Please find the attached disaster forms, kit list and USGS list of earthquakes in the world in the last 7 days. Kindly share and pass this Disaster Preparedness materials to everyone you know.
For individuals or organizations interested in a free catastrophe incident, emergency response and disaster preparedness training, feel free to contact us directly at 415 968-9956 for more information.
Stay safe and be prepared!
very truly,
